After Ramayan And Mahabharat, Doordarshan All Set For Nitish Bharadwaj’s Vishnupuran's Re-Run
Nitish Bharadwaj to entertain the audience with Vishnupuran re-run on Doordarshan starting tonight
Now that’s called being on a roll! Hindi GEC Doordarshan has not let down its Indian audience even for a single day during the ongoing lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning with the re-run of Ramayan, this TV channel is just on a spree to get the audience glued to their screens and entertain them thoroughly. After Ramayan, it continued with bringing back popular fiction TV shows such as Shaktimaan, Shriman Shrimati, Chanakya and so on. Considering the lockdown will enter phase 4 and there will be an extension after May 17, today came one more news which will excite the fans of the mythological genre.
The channel on its official Twitter account announced to bring back Vishnupuran, it will be aired on the TV channel starting tonight itself. Starring Nitish Bharadwaj this is yet another surprise for the viewers and a reason to remain glued to their TV screens one more time. Their tweet read, “See Chakradhar, the story of the incarnations and glory of Lord Vishnu "Vishnu Purana" tonight at 7 pm only on DD Bharati.” This move of the GEC got applauded on the social networking platform.

The original series aired in the year 2000 saw Nitish Bharadwaj in the role of Vishnu and actress Vaidehi Amrute in the role of Lakshmi.
